News Tale and Ale II at UTDB The Dental Branch drew a crowd, including many alumni, by hosting Tale and Ale II for the Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS) Jan. 19. Faculty presenters included Drs. Maria Gonzalez, Raymond Koeppen, Sergio Ortegon and Amy Ridall on the topic of implant esthetics; Drs. Juliana Barros, Ali Obeidi and Shalizeh Patel on laser dentistry; and Dr. James Katancik, Dr. June Sadowsky and Associate Professor Donna Warren-Morris, R.D.H., on the topic of improving oral health in elders.  Click the headline above to see photos from the event. DDS anesthesia resident links patient’s symptoms to ill-fitting dentures Jason R. Flores, DDS, is a 2009 graduate of The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. He is currently in the dental anesthesia residency program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and recently e-mailed Assistant Professor June Sadowsky, DDS, to tell her about an experience that may be helpful to everyone who sees patients.
